the dream destination plan
this is where my head is at, as far as what i want and where i want to be.
i
want to be with my girlfriend, my son and our cats
i want a piece of land in eastern québec
upon this land i want a home, this home will be as earth
friendly as possible
it may be an old house or barn that i convert or it may be built from scratch
i want to generate my own energy by clean means
i want to use snow and rainfall to support our water needs
i want a four season greenhouse for fruits, vegetables and herbs
i want fully integrated ventilation to regulate temperature in the home and
greenhouse
i want a vehicle that can work on the land and drive us into town
i want a earth friendly guest house so folks will come to visit
i want a party lounge with full sound so dj's will come to play
i need help with this and can find no government programs to help me
we
currently live in a second floor, two bedroom flat with no backyard
we have no means to buy land or a home
i am willing and able to do hard work
i
can see no clear way to jump from paying too much rent to owning a home
despite all my skills and abilities, i know of no one who will hire me to build
my own home
i know it can be done and i am willing to teach others anything i learn by building
my dream
the government of québec wants to revitalize it's remote regions and i want to be there
